Artistika
"The fourth International Circus Festival in Switzerland" After three sold-out performances, sensational reviews from professionals and audiences alike, the young festival happily presents its fourth show on Saturday, March 5th 2016. Artistika is a festival about showing the stunningly breathtaking art of acrobatics. We want to show the world that this is an art form and much more than just a circus attraction. Far from the circus big top, artists are given the opportunity to present their skills, direct, close up and without the safety of double bottom floor. Six selected acrobats from the international circus scene will compete at the Fourth Artistika for highly prized trophies. A specially selected international jury composed of well-known artists, who will also showcase their skills on this magical night, will not have an easy time deciding the winners. In addition to the decisions of the jury, the audience will also vote its’ favorite act. As in previous years there will be one selected Artist chosen to receive a special Artistika for their lifetime achievements. The mentoring-sponsorship of the fourth Artistika will be announced soon.
